I know how much time and effort goes into putting your words on the page and I want to honor that time and effort by giving my best performance for your words and their message.
My Unique Background
I have a broad exposure to the spoken word. I have a MS in Environmental Studies, a BS in Wildlife and Forest Biology, and was Teacher Certified in Secondary Biology and Chemistry in New York state. I have worked for the Cooperative Extension's Master Gardener Program, The Nature Conservancy, Audubon International and New York State Parks and Dept. of Environmental Conservation. I have also homeschooled both of my daughters for the past 17 years and been a lead female singer in blues bands for over 20 years and 2 cds.
I love being outdoors, whether it be hiking or gardening. I also enjoy reading, biking, and playing video games with my daughters. My family has 3 dogs, a cat, and 7 tarantulas.
Professional Home Studio
I have a professional home studio with a Sennheiser MK4 microphone, Scarlett Focusrite interface, Audacity DAW, and Isotope RX8 Audio Editor.
I have narrated over 30 books including: tourism, science, sociology, business, crafts, children's, and horror. I also have roles in several pod-casts and recorded telephony. I have taken over 20 voice over classes along with training with several different private coaches.
